Shared Journeys
Brain
Injury Foundation was formed to promote awareness of
acquired brain injury and address the need for post-acute rehabilitation
programs in the Northern Colorado Community.
.
Mission:
The mission
of Shared Journeys Brain Injury Foundation (SJBIF) is to empower persons
with acquired brain injury the hope and support needed to reclaim life.
Vision:
The vision of SJBIF is to provide
programs that succeed in helping persons with acquired brain injury regain
independent, satisfying and productive lives. The Foundation is further
interested in working with others to be a model for communities across the
country.
We believe, in addition to
continued physical and cognitive rehabilitation, that the pace and extent of
recovery from acquired brain injury is substantially improved through a dynamic
and innovative approach that emphasizes relationship and team-building among
clients, and among a network of community programs. These beliefs form our five
core values that direct our mission:
-
Commitment
-
Integrity
-
Empathy
-
Empowerment
-
